A little about me.....
I was born in Ireland, but I moved to Wisconsin with my family when I was eleven. I went to junior high and high school in Mequon, Wisconsin before going to University of Iowa in 1997. Though I started out as a Journalism/English major, it didn't take me long to figure out that I was more suited for teaching than reporting. I switched majors to Education/English and have never regretted my decision.
This summer I got married to my husband, Steve. We are very excited to start our new life together.
Before coming to Maine West, I taught at TF North in Calumet City, IL for 5 years. This year, I will teach English II and English I Accelerated. I am so excited to be at Maine West and can't wait for this year of new beginnings.
